Jessica Garay
Jessica Garay is an Assistant Professor of Nutrition in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at Syracuse University's Falk College. Dr. Garay’s research interests center on the short- and long-term effects of adolescent and adult health behaviors, with a focus on dietary patterns (including dietary supplement use) and physical activity.
Veronica Tearney
As the director of strength and conditioning for Olympic sports, Veronica (Dyer) Tearney serves as the department nutritionist and is responsible for working with Syracuse's spirit teams. She earned her bachelor’s exercise science from Syracuse and has served as a graduate assistant in the Syracuse strength and conditioning department. Tearney is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and was a track and field athlete as an undergraduate at Syracuse and participated in the Canadian Olympic Trials in 2000. She was also a member of the Canadian National Team at the 2001 World University Games in Beijing, China.
Kristen Siermachesky
Kristen Kiah Siermachesky is a sport management major in Syracuse University's Falk College and an athlete within the Syracuse University's Women's Ice Hockey. She has been named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll, the Athletic Director's Honor Roll and the CHA All-Academic Team. She has also been elected president of Syracuse's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) board.
Declan Fischback
Declan is graduate student in Nutrition with the Falk College Department of Nutrition and Food Studies. He was also an undergraduate Health and Exercise Science major with the Department of Exercise Science, and is an athlete with Syracuse University's Rowing team. He has rowed in Eastern Sprints and IRA National Championships.
