Description for the score of shot
The scene I chose is a bright white full moon in the night above the still water. First of all, I’m a person who has a strong connection with the moon and is interested in the supernatural, and the moon always gives me a sense of mystery and magic, so I decided to choose the scene for my music underscoring. Inspired by the moon goddess, I wanted to write a song that could be able to describe the picture I saw, like a sacrificial ceremony, worship to the moon goddess. I chose Tom as a beginning in order to imitate the Shaman Drum, to illustrate some sort of mystical ritual. Then I chose a synthesizer that sounds like a large group of wizards spell whispering, and let it be the theme. In the middle of the song, I chose a sonic that sounds like a water dropping, and I used the modulator to change the waveform and panning it to the stereo to make it sound more flowing and soft. And then I chose the digital female voice to be the symbol of the moon goddess and added some effectors to make it sound more natural and airy. One of the interesting thing is that at the end of the song, I did some creative sounds like distorted bass, I added the distortion on bass to make it sound more powerful and cool, because I think when I do the meditation in front of the moon for a while, I will refresh my brain and body and regain more energy and power. Or it could also predict that something big is going to happen…
